Graduation Gear Up
Hey guys! the man with the Styling Stache (which I shaved today :( ) John Altmann back again with another blog. Today's blog will be about my experiences and feelings all before my graduation from High School! It has been one hell of a ride these past four years and I can honestly say that I am elated that I can finally put it behind me. Do not get me wrong faithful readers I have made many amazing friends and have met some remarkable people along the way but boy do you burn yourself out getting to that point. My classes were very demanding from TV Media (readers that class made me sleep with the lights on a few nights.) all the way to my Advanced Math class I was pushing myself way to hard and burning the proverbial candle at both ends. My friends it is okay to work hard in fact in our crazy world hard work is a necessity, but what is also a necessity in being able to take those times to just breathe and collect yourself and the sights around you. I can safely say that I missed a few gems of opportunity because of my tunnel vision and narrow mind and it was even starting to take a toll on my health. Point being work hard for what you want and take it but when it is all said and done flop on your couch, kick off your shoes and have a glass of wine with your favorite movie (for me you know 9 times out of 10 it will come from Lifetime.) Anyway time to get off the tirade train and resume focus. These past twelve years of education have been a real blessing to me because there was a time in my life when education as well as many other vitals were devoid from my life. It has been an arduous rewarding road filled with memories both awesome and awful. There are people that I am leaving behind that I feel like a piece of my heart is cut off with them and it hurts. In the end though this is the game of life and John Altmann knows it well so I take the hurt I feel and I put it in perspective on days like today. Today my Grandmother (who IS my mother and the only mother I will EVER recognize) has been on her feet preparing all of this salivating food for my Graduation Party tomorrow since six o'clock this morning! It is now 12 PM here so six hours she has been working all for me. She is truly a one of a kind woman and someone I am so blessed to have in my life. I love her beyond words readers and now it is my job to look my best during the official ceremony tomorrow because she deserves that much for being such a phenomenal mother. (I will be sure to blog about EVERYTHING when the opportunity presents itself Scout's honor. ;) ) and my sister will be coming down late tonight! Oh readers I cannot tell you the elation I am feeling at the thought of her visiting I bought property on cloud 9 today I was so excited. My sister is my best friend, my confidant, my rock and somebody whom when my heart is lying in the gutters dries my tears and puts a smile on my face. She personifies the term extraordinary and I could spend the rest of my days blogging about her and it would not do her justice. (Let the records show the same could wholeheartedly be said about my Mother.) I have other family coming that I am excited to see like my sister and her girlfriend (who is like a sister as well believe me.) God I love those guys they are so warm and beautiful. It is people like them that make me truly angry at those who deal them a harsh hand simply based on their orientation. GET OUT OF THE DARK AGES YOU BIGOTS THERE IS BEAUTY IN EVERY MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD AND HOW DARE ANY OF YOU TRY AND SAY WHAT IS RIGHT OR WRONG BASED ON YOUR MORAL COMPASS! Let he who is perfect cast the first stone in their glass house readers. My Aunt Scotty and Cousin Scarlett Rose are also coming and they are both marvelous. Scarlett Rose is an awe inspiring little girl who I swear is the first baby I don't hate. (I am not a sadist readers honest! :P ) she is just too cute for words! When it comes to her readers I really hope to develop a strong loving bond with her in the coming years. There are others attending but I will elaborate on them more in my post graduation posts. Just tasted some macaroni salad for the party and readers my stomach just hit the Big O! Well until next time readers Stay safe, sexy and sharp baby!

Abducted: A Lifetime Movie Review
Hey everyone! It is your favorite blogger with the styling stache John Altmann here with my debut post and it is a movie review! I just got done watching a Lifetime Movie under LMN Classics On Demand titled Abducted. Abducted follows distressed wife Melaine Stone as we see she is unhappily married to her husband named Tom who is a prison warden with political aspirations. (We see in the movie he is running for Mayor.) Melaine's happiness is second priority to Tom as we see he will often manipulate and control her if it means he achieves his political ends. He even asks her not to attend her friend's wedding because he says it will "look bad for the campaign." I mean my oh my someone is a mega douche! Melaine glumly follows because she loves her husband and believes that his happiness is their happiness. Oh sweetie can you hear your own mindset all the way in the 50's?! For God sake empower yourself! (Sorry mini tangent.) Anyhow we see later on that Melaine has some run ins with a convict named Jack Carlson who was convicted of murder of his wife and his friend. He is in his second year of a sixteen year sentence and Tom has given him a job on his and Melaine's farm as a mechanic This came after Jack beat down a couple inmates (in self defense) early on in the film. We immediately see that Jack is a man of an amicable standing and a most warm nature as he seems to take somewhat of a liking to Melaine (don't cue those 80's ethnic kiss sound effects yet folks.) and she seems to show an inkling of attraction to him back. Of course being the cookie cutter political wife she suppresses it. Later we see the tension mounting between Tom and Melaine as Melaine suspects that Tom is having an affair with his campaign manager which he goes on to vehemently denies. (it is later proven true therefore I credit this film for portraying politicians accurately.) Tom would later go on to tell Jack that with this assault charge looming and the previous murder charge he could be looking at a life sentence. He then taunts Jack about life beyond prison walls. Jack feeling desperation closing in responds by taking Melaine hostage! This is where I am gonna cut off (You'll see that a lot in most of my book and movie reviews for future notice.) Overall I loved this movie. The plot was original (something big budget Hollywood fails to do these days.) The roles of the cast were phenomenally acted to a T (especially in my humble opinion the man playing Tom he just really captured the essence of political sleaze.) and it was just a very nicely structured movie and one I honestly would have paid full price to see on the silver screen. My final score ***** stars baby! Hope you guys will have the pleasure of watching this like I did (Again it's On Demand under Free Movies then Lifetime Movie.net then LMN Classics.) Thanks for reading and keep an eye out in the coming days as I blog about my graduation ceremony, party and my parting for my Virginia vacation with my sister and her boyfriend! (I hope a lot of blogging material comes out of that vacation!) Until next time this is Styling John Altmann saying Stay safe sexy and sharp baby!
